It might be post Labor Day weekend, but it doesn’t mean it’s the end of summer although it’s officially called that.

As is normal, post offices, banks and local state and federal offices are closed, as well as UPS and FedEx regular deliveries. USPS will deliver specialized mail. A majority of retail stores, and supermarkets will be open.

As a reminder, please slow down and use extra caution in school zones. With the nice weather, we’re seeing plenty of students walking and biking to school. If you notice more officers around the schools, don’t worry! They just miss going to school like the students do over the summer. Our team loves stopping in and saying hi to make sure everyone is safe.
