Three separate fires in New Hampshire displaced several people, one in Nashua, one in o Rye, and a fatal fire in Windsor. In that town, firefighters found a home burned to the ground and the man dead inside. In all, 12 people were displaced in the Nashua fire that took place Wednesday night. One firefighter was injured. And in Rye, a historic building was damaged while firefighters rotated in and out, exhausted by the high snow levels in that neighborhood.
The on again off again New Hampshire State inspection drama is back on, as a judge requires the state to continue further muddying the waters of what drivers in the state should expect. In federal justice, Landya McCafferty’s ruling, the 22 page document read
The state’s actions have generated substantial public confusion regarding the requirements and legal status of the inspection and maintenance program. to be clear, the court does not. View the IM program as indefinitely postponed.
Senior residents may get some help avoiding scams, if the New Hampshire legislature goes forward with a Senate bill aimed at targeting cryptocurrency scams. iI’s a nationwide issue when thieves trick victims into depositing cash into cryptocurrency ATMs allegedly to keep the money safe. If ultimately enacted, legislation would cap the amount of money that can be deposited into crypto ATM’s. and crack down on operators, requiring them to provide a five day refund period.
Not all schools are open in Massachusetts, days after the blizzard of 2026. While some 40 inches of snow fell in some southeastern Mass communities, Governor Maura Healy said that in her words “We are not out of this yet.” She visited Fall River in Southeastern, Massachusetts, where snow is still choking streets.
One joyous event happened during the snowstorm. An angry Maine Senator Angus King grilled a potential defense department nominee about the US military strikes on an alleged drug boat heading to the US. And his wife, Hillary Clinton testified already that she doesn’t remember meeting Epstein, who died in a cell while awaiting trial on sex charges. Hillary Clinton said “I never went to his island. I never went to his homes. and I never went to his offices.“
