Update: last summer’s tragedy on the Piscataqua river bridge between Maine and New Hampshire has resulted in the clearing of three state police troopers, two from New Hampshire and one from Main using deadly force. They were responding to a report that a man shot his wife, to death at a home in Kittery and his eight year old son in his car on the bridge. The officers were justified at shooting Trent Weston of Troy New Hampshire according to the Maine Attorney General. He had raised his gun in the direction of the officers, and then shot himself in the head, falling off the bridge debt. The medical examiner’s office in Maine found it. He died from the gunshot wound to the head and not from Police gunfire.
