Gov Chris Sununu

Concord, NH – Following today’s vote by members of the Fiscal Committee to authorize funds to facilitate a state active-duty operation of the New Hampshire National Guard in support of security activities at the southern United States border to protect New Hampshire citizens from harm, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement:

“I thank members of the Fiscal Committee for approving these funds. In the wake of federal inaction, the work of the New Hampshire National Guard on the Southern Border will have a lifesaving impact – not just in Texas, but right here at home.”

The Portsmouth city Council has continued a removal hearing against planning board member James Hewitt.  Last night the council held a lengthy session, after the city attorney accused him of malfeasance while in office. She is seeking his removal for the allegation. The attorney representing him Argued that Hewitt operated according to planning board procedures and deserves to keep his seat. 

 I recorded last night and will continue this evening at 6 PM in this highly charged issue.

New Hampshire ‘s two US senators have been busy this week.

According to the seacoast board of realtors, January, sales of condominium units in the 13 sample seacoast towns, surpassed sales of single-family homes

Right now, it looks like the US Supreme Court will keep former President Trump on the presidential primary ballot in Colorado and other states, including Maine.

Seiji Ozawa world renowned conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra has died of heart failure in Tokyo at his home.

Next, on the interview, I talk with Cora-Lynn Hoppe, executive Director of the Rochester Childcare Center about the difficulties as she and other nonprofits face from financial shortfalls.
