Portsmouth resident Jim Hewitt will have his case move forward in a lawsuit against the city. In response to a City request, a judge dismissed some claims Hewitt has made involving his attempted removal from the planning board.
The state of New Hampshire is getting more money to settle $20 million in awards for former inmates at the Youth Detension center in Manchester. The inmates charge sexual and physical abuse while there re in the 1990s.
