One of the highly respected meteorologists in New Hampshire is calling today is forecast hot enough to melt Chapstick in a cup. That is if I’m quoting Tevin Wooten correctly on NBC 10. Anyway, he’s among a throng of meteorologists predicting record-breaking heat. along with an air quality alert for the region. That translates the temperatures. in the 90s, experienced in the upper Valley of New Hampshire yesterday. humidity levels will also increase, with a chance of. afternoon, thunderstorms. In other words, everything but snow, nationwide, some 100 million people are under severe weather threats today.

Prominent Portsmouth developer Marc McNabb is suing the city. According to report in seacoast online, his action follows rejection by the zoning board of a plan to redevelop a bank property. Van has had little trouble getting local boards, approvals of other major projects in the city and there is an appeal process for negative board decisions. But McNabb is taking his appeal to court.

Eight firefighters are still hospitalized after the fatal fire and explosion at a lumber mill in Main. One of them, Andrew Moreau. died while fighting the fire at Robins lumber. Another. faces along recovery process in all, 12 firefighters. we’re injured.
