The community power coalition of New Hampshire has announced an electric rate expected to save 75,000 community customers a total of $7.2 million from current rates. Starting in August the basic rate will be 10.9 cents per kilowatt hour. According to a news release, there are 35 New Hampshire Communities in the coalition, and once all communities are enrolled, the coalition will become the third largest electric supplier in New Hampshire.
