FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON

Meanwhile, there are negotiations between the US and The communist country going on, and US officials have urged Cuba remove its president, Miguel Diaz Cannell.

New Hampshire school districts, over 90 of them are on the hook for millions, hit by unexpected bills from their nonprofit healthcare insurer School Care. Some $2 million for Concord schools, 1 million for Lebanon, and over 1.5 million for Portsmouth school employee coverage. While School Care says it’s because of increased employee, medical bills, the districts, including Portsmouth are livid.
The on again off again debate over New Hampshire’s yearly car inspections has the latest chapter sued over its disposal of the program. The latest chapter involves the laid off inspection sticker provider, Gordon Darby, asking a judge to hold the state in contempt of court. That company says the state has violated the clean-air act, and has filed a suit that would require New Hampshire to continue the annual inspections.
New Hampshire humanitarians of the Common Man for Ukraine group are heading back there. Plymouth New Hampshire based Common man for Ukraine is heading there for their 15th. convoy, in the final planning stages for our 15th humanitarian convoy into Ukraine. During the nearly 2-week trip abroad, starting Wednesday, they will visit their children’s trauma retreat and mothers retreat in Poland, as well as venture into the frontline villages most in need in Ukraine.
Financial firm OneMain Financial is accused of charging hundreds of millions of dollars for fees relating to add on products. New Hampshire and 12 other states are suing the firm, charging that it imposed unnecessary fees relating to. Insurance policies that applicants either didn’t understand or didn’t request.
And this sad note from those who know him, and there are many, long time radio and television broadcaster Cliff Blake of Dover New Hampshire has passed away from complications of ALS. Cliff worked with myself at WOKQ FM and as the voice of New Hampshire public television.

New Hampshire US Senator Maggie Hassan says that two years of pressure have finally broken Glaxo SmithKlein GSK from barring lower cost generic inhalers. She said:
“For decades, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has blocked competitors and increased prices on a life-saving asthma inhaler to unconscionable levels, with children, families, and taxpayers paying the price,” said Senator Hassan. “Now that the company has given up its monopoly and finally allowed a lower-cost generic to enter the market, fewer families around the country will have to live in constant fear that their child may die from an asthma attack because GSK has priced them out of life-saving medication.”
