NHSPCA in Stratham is benefiting from a $5000 donation from the city of Portsmouth. That’s because the City Council has authorized that and coverage of Frankie the dog’s vet bills after being electrocuted on city property. Frankie did not survive.
April sales of single-family and condominium units in the 13-Sample Seacoast Towns both slipped by double digits from a year ago, according to statistics just released by the Seacoast Board of REALTORS..
Single-family sales were off 27.1% from a year ago and the 118 single-family listings were also off by 16.3%. Some 43 sales closed at a median $925,000, the second highest monthly median for the year behind January’s record $1,087,500.
New Hampshire governor Kelly Ayotte has vowed to continue her fight to keep mental health coverage for all children in the state. That’s after a house committee voted to essentially kill the legislation by sending it to interim study. it was a 14 to 4 vote by the house. Commerce and small business committee passed it off till next year. Ayotte says she will still fight for the legislation in the state Senate. She said she was totally flabbergasted, disappointed, and outraged at the vote.

Evidently she attempted suicide, but couldn’t go through with it while at an aunt’s house in Vermont at the time the acts allegedly by her of the six and seven-year-olds. The six month ordeal of detention by ICE of a Portland Maine teen is over, finally. Now a judge has ordered release of Olivia Andre, a former immigrant from the republic of Congo. She was grabbed with her family attempting to migrate to Canada. Her release was celebrated by Maine congresswoman Chellie Pingree who visited her in detention. Her release is expected by Friday this week.
One more Massachusetts state trooper is in court implicated in the death of a trooper trainee. He is Tracy Lamont and he has pleaded not guilty as as well as the other three troopers charged in the death of Enrique Delgado Garcia. He died of injuries suffered in a boxing ring during his training. Lamont is also accused of involuntary manslaughter and causing serious bodily injury.
President Trump is a awaiting the latest response from Iran on proposals to end the war between the countries. Trump is pressuring Iran to agree, to avoid further action. A foreign administration spokesperson from Pakistan, which is mediating negotiations, says he’s hopeful.
“What I can tell you and this is what I have stated before that we remain positive, we remain optimistic, and we hope the settlement will be soon rather than later,”
But for President Trump, if they don’t agree, the bombing starts.
