A long-standing union at the Portsmouth naval shipyard has lost its collective bargaining right. It’s the 300 member. United brotherhood of. Carpenters and Jointers local. And it’s One of many across the country losing It’s collective bargaining agreement by executive order of President Trump.

The offer by a former Manchester West high school teacher for sex with a what he thought was a 12-year-old girl Has resulted in a 13 year Term in federal prison. The sting snared 48 year-old Stacy Lancaster, who taught at West high School in Manchester. His online offer was $100 for 15 minutes worth of sex.

New Hampshire Secretary of State David M. Scanlan reminds voters that the deadline to change their party affiliation before the State Primary Election is June 2, 2026.

Registered voters who want to change their party affiliation should visit their local town/city clerk’s office before the deadline.

Two popular hotels along York Beach Maine have new names and new owners. The York Beach Surf club and Sea Latch Inn were purchased at auction after foreclosure in 2025. Portsmouth based Colwen Hotels bought the two properties for nearly $7 million.
