There are a couple of reasons to celebrate today’s first day of Spring, 2026. First, there is no snowstorm in sight at least for today. Second, it’ll only be a week before the Boston Red Sox open their 2026 baseball season against the Cincinnati Reds.

The group’s first stop includes a visit with the 34 Ukrainian children at the March session of its trauma retreat in beautiful Zakopane. The state of New Hampshire says that the court case against its halting of the state inspection annual program is based on private interest and not the public good. The state argument? It’s a private argument masquerading as a Clean Air Act lawsuit, but in the latest court case, the state of New Hampshire is appealing a federal court order that it resume the annual vehicle inspections.
