The man who was convicted of shooting a Concord New Hampshire,couple out for a walk, has won an appeal based on his constitutional rights. He’s Logan Clegg, and he was pinged by a Verizon emergency protocol and arrested in Vermont in the shootings of Steven and Wendy Reid in 2022. But the New Hampshire State Supreme Court ruled with his defense attorney that a warrant-less search. was unconstitutional. Police say they had to make the arrest because they thought he would flee the country.

Newington New Hampshire gun maker SIG Sauer is teaming up with a company from Israel on production of combat drones. It’s the latest war technology, and Sig Sauer’s latest generation machine gun The fire storm 250 will be mounted on an armed quad copter produced by aerospace industry Israel aerospace industries. The light machine gun is being built at the company’s Rochester plant. Information on the partnership has been released by worldwide publication Janes.

A lawsuit is continuing against the city of Portsmouth, accused of dumping debris from a Portsmouth Housing Authority project at a site on Banfield Road. A developer wants to build housing at that site. Banfield Road is an offshoot of the heavily traveled Peverly Hill Road in the city.

The Maine city of Lewiston is sticking with its policy of non-cooperation with the Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency. The city council extended an earlier.emergency ordinance until a new state law takes effect later in 2026. It currently bans any police or other city departments from cooperation with ICE agents. New Hampshire humanitarians of the Common man for Ukraine group are heading back there. Plymouth New Hampshire based Common man for Ukraine is heading there for their 15th. convoy, in the final planning stages for our 15th humanitarian convoy into Ukraine. During the nearly 2-week trip abroad, starting Wednesday, they will visit their children’s trauma retreat and mothers retreat in Poland, as well as venture into the frontline villages most in need in Ukraine.
