FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON

Heavy rain is expected to develop across the region Monday through
Monday night. Widespread totals of 1 to 2 inches of rain are
anticipated with locally higher amounts of 3 inches or greater over
the White Mountains and Midcoast of Maine. Ice movement is expected
across all rivers but the risk for isolated ice jam flooding will
mainly be across the north.
And a wind advisory from 8 PM tonight through 8 AM Tuesday, with winds gusting up to 50 mph.
None of the six airmen identified as victims in the KC 135 aircraft crash in Iraq were from New England. While Air National Guard troops have been dispatched to the troubled Middle East, Pease Air National Guard base in New Hampshire uses upgraded KC 9A aircraft refuelers.
The airmen are 33-year-old Maj. John A. Klinner of Auburn, Alabama; 31-year-old Capt. Ariana G. Savino of Covington, Washington; 34-year-old Tech. Sgt. Ashley B. Pruitt of Bardstown, Kentucky; 38-year-old Capt. Seth R. Koval of Mooresville, Indiana; 30-year-old Capt. Curtis J. Angst of Wilmington, Ohio; and Tech. Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons, 28, of Columbus, Ohio.
President Trump is putting the pressure on traditional allies to help reopen. The oil dependent Hormuz Strait in the mid-east. He wants seven oil dependent countries to join a coalition to police the Strait Trump said.
“I really am demanding that These countries come in and take their own territory, the place where they get their own Energy.”
New Hampshire humanitarians of the Common man for Ukraine group are heading back there. Plymouth New Hampshire based Common man for Ukraine is heading there for their 15th. convoy, in the final planning stages for our 15th humanitarian convoy into Ukraine. During the nearly 2-week trip abroad, starting Wednesday, they will visit their children’s trauma retreat and mothers retreat in Poland, as well as venture into the frontline villages most in need in Ukraine.
New Hampshire US Senator Maggie Hassan says that two years of pressure have finally broken Glaxo SmithKlein GSK from barring lower cost generic inhalers. She said:
“For decades, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has blocked competitors and increased prices on a life-saving asthma inhaler to unconscionable levels, with children, families, and taxpayers paying the price,” said Senator Hassan. “Now that the company has given up its monopoly and finally allowed a lower-cost generic to enter the market, fewer families around the country will have to live in constant fear that their child may die from an asthma attack because GSK has priced them out of life-saving medication.”
Driving on thin ice has caused two vehicles going into the water in Maine. In one case, a truck. broke through the ice at Moose Lake in Rockwood while docked. In another instance in Maine, a vehicle went. over an embankment in Lisbon, into a river. One driver was not seriously injured in that accident.
Hooksett New Hampshire based General Electric Aerospace is getting a piece of the action from the company’s billion dollar investment this year in the US. It’s a $12 million upgrade of machinery, and building updates. GE says it’s the second straight year of $1 billion investments in its US facilities.
