In the fifth week of action against Iran, a new survey shows most Americans oppose it. One, by Reuters Ipsos shows 43% of those surveyed oppose the war, with just 27% in favor of military action against Iran.
New Englanders, enjoying a brief respite from higher gas prices, have seen them rise dramatically. At the pump, prices have shot up on average $.40 a gallon within the first few days of the conflict with Iran.
President Trump, who has suggested that the war may end soon, has told a friendly congressional group of Republicans in Florida that he highly respects the military in the conflict.
At the same time, the president warned of Strikes 20 times harder if That country doesn’t adhere to warnings from the US. He’s also opposing the naming of a new supreme leader, another Khamaneii
And Maine Senator Angus King, no friend of the conflict against Iran, is also taking aim at the president’s plan for a 250 foot arch at Arlington National Cemetery. Independent King says that the law requires congressional approval, and the arch as he sees it is illegal.
One thing New Englanders appreciate is the warm weather, with temperatures reaching 70 in Boston and in some southern New Hampshire spots. Forecasters urge you to enjoy the late winter snow melting sun before it turns to what they call seasonable temperatures tomorrow with highs in the 40s and 50s.
Despite a 9.5% spike in available inventory, sales of single of family homes in the 13 Sample Seacoast Towns fell to the lowest monthly level in at least 16 years. Meanwhile, it was the best February for condominium sales since 2021. The news came in the latest statistics released by the Seacoast Board of REALTORS.
More New Hampshire nonprofits could benefit from charity gaming revenues, if new legislation passes and is signed. The bill, Sponsored by Senator Tim Lange, would increase by 430 the number of groups that could get a slice of the profit pie.
