A special weather statement from the national weather service

Sub freezing temperatures following last nights precipitation and patchy freezing fog may create slick conditions on untreated roadways this morning. Use caution and leave extra room between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you.

Not everything is solved after this past weekend blizzard. This is the fourth day schools have been closed in parts of Massachusetts. And vehicles, abandoned by drivers have been towed to tow yards, waiting for their owners to pick them up. lots of them, from Boston and other Bay state cities in their eye of the storm were taken, as state police told drivers to leave them. In one case, a driver became stuck behind a vehicle, stuck behind a snow plow. in that case, a National Guard truck safely transported the driver to a rest area. Even now, there have been 126,000 reported cop, power outages mostly on the Cape and islands, hard hit by the storm. 

A tragedy took place in the New Hampshire city of Dover. That’s where, at the police station, a 37-year-old man passed away while sitting in a chair waiting to take an Uber home. From a police department Press release,

While the investigation is ongoing, it appears likely that (the man) ingested illegal narcotics in the public bathroom of the police station, leading to an accidental overdose,” 

Andrew Larose of new Ipswich arrived at the police station after being involved in a vehicle crash late Tuesday night. He was not injured in the accident.

Maine Senator Susan Collins has grilled President Trump’s nominee for surgeon general about her past use of psychedelic drugs. She is Casey means, a wellness influencer. Means, who has had her physicians license expire stood her ground by testifying that there is research being done about psychedelic remedies for veterans who suffer mental health issues.

The Pawtucket, Rhode Island hockey rink shooting last week has claimed a third life. 75-year-old Gerald Dorgan died in the hospital after his ex-wife, and the son of the shooter, were killed in the shooting, as well as the shooter himself, by suicide. Three others in the rampage are still in critical condition hospitalized after the incident at a high school hockey game. police found two guns at the scene, a SiggSauer P226 and a Glock, with others found at a storage unit in Maine.

Former Treasury Secretary and Harvard University professor Larry Summers resigned from the University. That’s after implications of his involvement with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. He called it a difficult decision, and he had already quit teaching and public commitments. Both President Trump and Harvard said they would launch investigations over Summer’s involvement with Epstein, which include emails with Epstein concerning Summer’s wife, professor Emeritus ELisa New.
