Breaking: A high ranking officer in the New Hampshire Air National Guard, Brigadier General John Pogorek has died in a hit-and-run in Rochester. It happened when he was struck and killed Monday evening, and the driver fled the scene. According to WMUR, Police have located the vehicle involved, but have not released any more information about the crash. He was 57 and in charge of all operations at Pease air national guard base. In a statement New Hampshire governor Chris Sununu said General Pogorek served his state, country, and community with honor.
